The Chamber is run by a voluntary committee, dedicated to working on behalf of its members. The committee consists of local business people who have a wide range of business experience, skills and background:
Mike has a wealth of local knowledge and with his background in banking and finance is well placed to work in the field of business support.
Mike is also a member of the Uxbridge initiative (Transport & Access Sub-Group) where he lobbies tirelessly on parking issues amongst other business related transport problems.
Furthermore, he represents Hillingdon's interests at a sub-regional level and has very close links with neighbouring chambers of Hounslow. He also represents the chambers interests and is the vice chairman of the Warren Medical Patient Participation Group. As a member of the London Civic Forum he is able to keep a close eye on London Wide initiatives & developments.
Mike is also a member of the local strategic partnership and a member of the Hillingdon Economic Sustainable Taskforce.

Laraine is the Principal of Uxbridge College and in this capacity acts as a vital link between the world of business and that of education. Laraine is very committed to promoting and developing the skills agenda locally through the education and training offered by the College.
In addition Laraine is active in both private and public sector partnerships in Hliingdon with the aim of advancing the interests of local businesses and the growth of the local economy

Frazine a solicitor is a partner in the firm F E Johnson & Co based in Denham. She is keen to develop the ability of chamber members to obtain public and third sector business and as our link to businesses in Harefield to promote membership in that area.
Jonathan is a Chartered Accountant and at partner at Kingston Smith Accountants, based at the Heathrow office in Hayes. He specialises in working with small and medium sized businesses in the West London area.
He brings his expertise in understanding businesses to the Chamber when considering strategy for how the Chamber can help local businesses and the problems they face. Jonathan is a board member of the Hayes Business Studios, an initiative that provides office space to start up entrepreneurs in the Hillingdon borough.
Jonathan is the treasurer of the Chamber and has been a committee member since 2002. He also assists with ICT matters and oversees the Chamber website.
Vijay is a Mortgage Broker who runs his own practice, Infinity Mortgage
Solutions, based in Eastcote. He has been in business since 1991 and
provides advice on all types of mortgages products and services.
Vijay specialises in Equity Release products such as Lifetime Mortgages for the over 60's.
Les, a successful businessman in his own right, single-handedly galvanised the businesses and traders at Ruislip Manor to create the Ruislip Manor Chamber of Commerce. The thriving Chamber is affiliated to the Hillingdon Chamber and Les is Police Liaison Champion for The Chamber.
Pauline is based in the placement and Careers Centre at Brunel University. She is responsible for encouraging students to develop their entrepreneurial and employability skills and, as part of her ‘outreach’ work, also runs a business skills course for residents in the local community. Pauline is Clerk to the Governors at Bishopshalt School and is a Board Member for the Hounslow and Hillingdon Young Enterprise programme.

Sally held a number of senior positions as a Project Manager in Local Government. She embarked on a career change 5 years ago and now combines work for the Chamber with running a successful physical therapy practice in Harrow.
Sally Hamblin – Administrator and Policy Advisor
