Hillingdon Chamber’s First Affiliated Member
The Ruislip Manor Chamber of Commerce (RMCC) became formally affiliated to HCC late last year. RMCC was formed to create a cohesive business community within Ruislip Manor, to address local issues that effect business and to raise the profile of the area. RMCC currently has over 60 Members and high profile supporters, including Nick Hurd MP.
RMCC is closely affiliated with Hillingdon Chamber and this relationship gives mutual support and strength when campaigning on issues that matter to our Members. RMCC has a distinctly local flavour but an opportunity for Borough-wide influence.
Issues currently being championed by RMCC:
- 30 minutes free car parking in ‘the Manor’
- Christmas lights
- CCTV cameras
- More disabled parking facilities
- Improved lighting, signposts and other amenities (repairing of the street furniture)
- A safer, welcoming environment to attract more customers with the help of the local Safer Neighbourhood Watch police team
